Arthritis is isolating. It doesn't have to be.

Join others living with arthritis in this unique support group created by an arthritis patient for those with arthritis in the Metro Vancouver area.

Held in person at the Mary Pack Arthritis Center, this program’s purpose is to connect people living with arthritis in a fun, engaging and educational environment.

The target audience of the Arthritis Social Hour events are for anyone who lives with arthritis in the Metro Vancouver area in the age range of 25-60, an age range without any support groups or events focused around. Each social hour will be designed for topics which are popular and important among those aged 25-60 living with arthritis. Eileen Davidson - Chronic Eileen

Eileen, as someone living with multiple forms of arthritis, has designed this program to educate and inspire those who also have arthritis to better self-manage their disease, meet others like themselves, and bring a sense of community again after the COVID-19 pandemic, which has left many of those living with arthritis feeling isolated and alone in their concerns.

Eileen Davidson has been a prominent ambassador for The Arthritis Society since 2017. She has volunteered for a number of events, planning committees, arthritis awareness activities and fundraising not just limited to The Arthritis Society but many other arthritis organizations.

She proudly volunteers with Arthritis Research Canada arthritis patient advisory board and is a well known arthritis blogger under the name Chronic Eileen, contributor to arthritis publication Creaky Joints and Healthline's Bezzy RA community. Eileen is a Patient Engagement Research Ambassador for the Canadian Institutes of Health Research arthritis and musculoskeletal chapter along with a member of the Doctors of BC Shared Care chronic pain advisory committee.
