Arthritis is isolating. It doesn't have to be though.
The Arthritis Social Hour is a support group for individuals with arthritis. This group allows patients to discuss various aspects of living with arthritis and encourages members to share their personal journeys and concerns. The primary goal is to create a secure environment where individuals can gain insights and better manage their condition.
People with arthritis often feel isolated, lonely, and confused by this misunderstood disease. The support group serves as a valuable source of comfort and information, providing a compassionate listening ear for those navigating an arthritis diagnosis. Light refreshments will be available during each event.
The Arthritis Social Hour is made possible by funding from the Arthritis Society Canada Community Action Grant program.
